Today’s spotlight: Kimberly Davids
Title: General manager, The Weitz Company
Background: Davids began her career in the construction industry as a project engineer and worked her way up the ranks through every position, including superintendent, manager and executive. In 2017, she became the first female general manager in Weitz’s 163-year history.
Source of pride: “I am extremely proud to have been named general manager of Weitz’s Arizona office after just 18 years in the industry. Loyalty, tenacity and hard work have helped me achieve this success early in my career. I am honored to lead such a great group of people.”
Surprising fact: “I agreed to a goal of running 45 half-marathons before turning 45.”
