Fennemore Craig’s Jessica Post leads practice group
Fennemore Craig, a leading Mountain West business law firm, announced Jessica Post, a partner in the firm’s Phoenix office, has been appointed the new Practice Group Chair of the firm’s Employment and Labor Relations practice group.

Post regularly advises clients on all facets of labor and employment law that arise in the workplace. She also has defended employers in wage and hour class actions in both state and federal court. Post has been recognized in Benchmark Litigation, Southwest Rising Stars, and is AV® Preeminent™ Peer Review Rated (the highest rating available), by Martindale-Hubbell. She earned her J.D. from the University of Arizona and her A.B. from Dartmouth College.

Marcus & Millichap hires Michael Farrar as associate

Farrar brings over 20 years of experience in real estate, both commercial and residential. He previously worked at Colliers International where he served his clients in site selection, sourcing and underwriting of new investment opportunities, asset valuation analysis, and disposition of real estate asset holdings.

New executive chef at SaltRock in Sedona
There’s a new executive chef leading the charge at SaltRock Southwest Kitchen in Sedona at Kimpton Amara Resort and Spa, and he’s looking to draw inspiration from his upbringing to bring more local fare to the menu.
Born and raised in a small town in Louisiana, Logan Stephenson grew up hunting and fishing for his food, but slowly got away from that as his career advanced in more metropolitan areas. Now in Sedona, Logan is ready to reembrace the slower pace of life and take a foraged approach by partnering with local wineries, fisheries and farmers to bring more indigenous ingredients to the SaltRock cuisine (new menu coming this spring!).
Logan’s dedication and natural talent for his craft has led him to a number of opportunities on the West Coast. From making his way to the San Francisco Bay Area to explore ingredient-driven inspiration at Osteria Locanda to developing the pasta program at FiAMMA Trattoria in Phoenix, Logan most recently served as the Chef de Cuisine at Blue Hound Kitchen & Cocktails at Kimpton Hotel Palomar Phoenix.
MJ Insurance welcomes risk management consultant
MJ Insurance, one of the nation’s largest privately-held insurance agencies with more than five decades of success, is pleased to welcome Justin Rarick, a new addition to the Phoenix office.
Rarick joins the MJ team as a risk management consultant, responsible for proactively driving sales and service to new and existing clients while delivering innovative risk management solutions.
Prior to MJ Insurance, Rarick served as a commercial claims specialist at Nationwide Insurance, handling commercial injury claims. Most recently, Rarick worked as a commercial insurance broker for Arthur J. Gallagher in Des Moines, Iowa.
Rarick obtained his bachelor’s degree in business administration management with a minor in finance from Mount Mercy University in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
