TrustBank adds principals from Chichester Financial

TrustBank has announced the acquisition of Chichester Financial Group LLC and the addition of John J. Chichester, Jr., CEO and Founder of Chichester Financial Group LLC, and Virginia Asher, Director of Financial Planning, to the TrustBank Arizona team. The addition will combine unique and different strengths to support clients including traditional trust, brokerage, personal banking, and customized lending services along with expanded financial planning, 401k plan consulting, and long-term care options for individuals.

Mark Stratz appointed Phoenix city leader

Transwestern announced Mark Stratz has joined the firm as Senior Vice President and City Leader to oversee all operations in the firm’s Phoenix office. In this role, he will focus on growing operations, elevating and innovating client services, attracting new talent and creating new business opportunities for the firm and his team.

Stratz joins Transwestern from Cushman & Wakefield, where he served as Director, Office Group since 2005 with his business partner, Scott Baumgarten, who is also joining Transwestern as Senior Vice President. During their tenure, the team led the market through innovation in creative office and adaptive reuse projects covering vintage warehouses to high-rise office conversions. Some of their notable clients include Boyer Company, LNR Partners, Holualua Companies, and The University of Arizona. Prior to Cushman and Wakefield, Stratz was a Senior Associate in CBRE’s Seattle office. He graduated from Washington State University. Baumgarten graduated from University of Arizona before becoming an Office Broker at Cassidy Turley. Both will continue to advise new and existing clients in their roles at Transwestern.

Robert Garcia named partner at Farhang & Medcoff

Farhang & Medcoff announced that Robert Garcia has been named a partner at the firm.

Garcia is one of the region’s best young lawyers having earned multiple ratings as a Southwest Rising Star by Super Lawyers, an independent rating service that ranks lawyers based on research, peer nominations and peer evaluations.  Garcia was rated by Super Lawyers for his work as an employment and labor attorney.

Garcia earned his law degree at Boston College. He holds a bachelor of arts in political science and religious studies from the University of Arizona.

He joined Farhang & Medcoff in February 2011. His practice focuses on employment and commercial litigation matters, although he advises clients in various other areas including, business disputes, personal injury matters, and appellate matters.

Brian D. Greathouse named shareholder at Burch & Cracchiolo

Burch & Cracchiolo announced that Brian D. Greathouse has been elected a shareholder with the Firm. Greathouse practices in the areas of real estate law, land use and zoning, and business and corporate law.  

Greathouse received his J.D. from Arizona State University Sandra Day O’Connor School of Law in 2012. Prior to law school, he received his MBA from Arizona State University in 2005, and his undergraduate degree in civil engineering from Seattle University in 2002. He is admitted to practice in Arizona.

Greathouse currently serves as president of the Peoria Diamond Club and as a board member for Native America Connections. He also sits on the City of Peoria Board of Adjustment, the Industrial Development Authority and the City Charter Review Committee.
