WiredUp Installation, a Fountain Hills-based digital installation company, is expanding into Florida and California this year.

The decision follows two installation contracts with a large-scale convenience store and donut shop chain in these coastal markets. The company will also expand existing relationships with a fitness center and small and big box retailers within both regions.

“The WiredUp business model has always focused on taking a relationship-based service approach to the industry and embed ourselves in the communities we provide those services,” says Frank Esquibel, vice president and CSO of WiredUp Installation. “This expansion has allowed us to access more communities and to bring our high customer service levels to more households across the country.”

Twelve jobs will be created in this move, which will include 100 store installations in the Florida market and 150 in California. The work includes digital signage and menu board installation, communications and network configuration and service and support work.

WiredUp specializes in bars, restaurants, gyms and commercial and residential real estate installations. Esquibel says it will continue to offer audio/video, automation, surveillance and security residential installations services in the new markets. A particular industry he’s eager to see grow for WiredUp is boat tech. In fall 2014, WiredUp completed a custom audio/video and automation install on a high-end yacht.

“The Florida market expansion was especially satisfying as it is a top prospect for similar projects,” Esquibel says.

The convenience store and donut shop chain projects will wrap up before the end of the year, and Esquibel says the company will remain in the markets.

“The contracts in both states have continuation possibilities with more stores and different campaigns leading into 2017,” he says. “Those possibilities will allow us to not only maintain presence in those markets, but follow the growth plan we previously executed in the current Arizona market.”
