Sonoran Tasting Tours today announced its acquisition of Sedona-based Arizona Winery Tours. The acquisition comes during the busy autumn wine tour season and creates Arizona’s largest statewide wine tour company.

“We’re very excited about the purchase of Arizona Winery Tours,” said Sonoran Tasting Tours Owner, Karen Hinderberger. “We have a tremendous brand in Southern Arizona and this acquisition will allow us to expand our footprint into the Northern Arizona wine country.”

Launched in 2015, Sonoran Tasting Tours currently serves Southern Arizona with wine tours from Tucson to Wilcox and Sonoita wine countries. Guests choose from several tour packages and enjoy a delightful day of experiencing Southern Arizona wines.

Arizona Winery Tours was launched in Sedona in 2011. It provides guests with door-to-door luxury limo bus wine tours of several Page Springs area wineries including Page Springs Cellars, Oak Creek Vineyards, and Javelina Leap Winery.

“Karen and the Sonoran Tasting Tours brand are perfect fit for this acquisition,” said Eric Emmert, former owner of Arizona Winery Tours. “We built Arizona Winery Tours from the ground up with a focus on the guest experience. Karen did the same and the online reviews of both companies prove it.”

Until the acquisition is complete, both brands will continue operating within their respective markets in Sedona and Tucson.
