Travel + Leisure magazine recently named The Global Ambassador in Phoenix the No. 1 Resort in Arizona in its World’s Best Awards 2026, according to the readers’ survey.

For a hotel that has earned a devoted following among travelers and locals since its December 2023 debut, the recognition is well-earned. Created by hospitality innovator Sam Fox, the 141-room luxury hotel sits at the convergence of Phoenix, Scottsdale and Paradise Valley and merges European-inspired hospitality, culinary and wellness experiences.
“None of this happens without the people who show up every day and treat this hotel like it’s their own,” said Younes Atallah, the hotel’s managing director.
“Our focus has always been on the small details our guests feel, but rarely see. This recognition isn’t about a single achievement — it’s a reflection of the standard our entire team upholds every day.”
The No. 1 resort honor from Travel + Leisure joins an extensive body of national accolades earned by the hotel, including One MICHELIN Key by MICHELIN Guide Hotels, “Best Hotel” designations by Conde Nast Traveler and Esquire and “The 100 Most Incredible Hotels in the World” by Fodor’s, among others.
