When it dips below 80 degrees that’s when you know it’s fall in Phoenix – and even better, Halloween. Enjoy the days leading up to Halloween in Metro Phoenix with fun events and deals around the Valley. From pumpkin patches and family fun events to music and cocktails there is something for everyone to ensure this season is a memorable one.

Blue Clover Distillery

Celebrate All Hallows’ Eve with a house music night on Saturday Oct. 30 from 8 a.m. to 2 a.m. The event has a $10 cover charge; guests are encouraged to come in their best costumes. Entertainment includes rotating local DJ’s and live painting by artists. The event will feature the distillery’s Halloween cocktail, Scottsdale’s Best Espresso Martini.

Pedal Haus Brewing

On Oct. 31, Pedal Haus Brewing is hosting its annual costume contest for dogs at both its Tempe and Chandler locations. Bring a costumed dog and get your first Day Drinker Light Lager for $1. The best dressed, cutest dog will receive a $1,000 Pedal Haus gift card. Half of the proceeds from Day Drinker Light Lager and the watermelon margarita will go toward animal-related causes. Proceeds from the Tempe location will go to Valley Dog Rescue and proceeds from the Chandler location will go towards the One Love Pitbull Foundation.

ComicX

ComicX is a place where comic books fans can dine and play video games while surrounded by character memorabilia and life-size figurines, and now they can do it in costume. A social media costume contest will be held on Halloween Day, simply tag the restaurant (@comicxusa) in a post to be entered to win a $10 gift card. Their fall menu features halloween inspired treats, such as the Carnage burger, inspired by the new Venom movie. All-ages are welcome and reservations are encouraged.

Creepy Candy Crawl

Desert Ridge Marketplace, Oct. 22 from 6 to 8 p.m.

Families are welcome to bring their best Halloween looks for the annual costume and trick-or-treating event. The event will also feature music, dancing, games, prizes and more.

3rd Annual Pumpkin Patch

Through Oct. 31, the Pumpkin Patch has returned to The District near AMC Theaters. Pick a pumpkin, while supplies last, and take the perfect fall photo. On select dates, guests can enjoy free face painting, apple cider games and balloon twisting.

Velocity VR Scream Fest

Fight virtual reality zombies at Octane Raceway. For $40, customers can receive unlimited racing and 50% off Velocity VR sessions on Halloween from 6 to 10 p.m. The recently-upgraded Velocity VR gaming system now has games including Far Cry, Undead Arena, Singularity, Zombie Survival and more. From Oct. 18 – 31 guests can receive $10 off a Velocity VR session.

Talking Stick Resort’s Wicked Ball Shipwrecked Party

Guests 21+ can celebrate by coming as their best mystical and mythical creatures at one of the best Halloween parties in Metro Phoenix. The main event is the costume contest that will give out shares of the $10,000 prize to six winners and will be emceed by Tino Cochino and 104.7 KISS FM. Entertainment includes live music from Hook N Sling, Gattuso and Matoma. The event begins at 9 p.m. on Oct. 30. General admission tickets are $50 and VIP tickets are $90.

Belle’s Nashville Kitchen

Celebrate Halloweekend at Belle’s with $7 Fireball shots on the 29th and 30th. A costume contest will be hosted on Oct. 30. The winner will be announced on Belle’s Instagram page and will receive a $50 giftcard to the restaurant. The Old Town Bushwacker, a candy inspired with a rum base, Disaronno Velvet, crème de cocoa, coconut real puree, a dash of cream and Hershey’s chocolate topped with a cinnamon stick will be the featured cocktail.

Mavrix

Get into the spooky season with bowling, arcade games and laser tag at Mavrix.
