The store at 883 S. Cotton Lane, Suite 129, is the state’s second restaurant and the 35th location overall. Angry Chickz’s opening continues the brand’s steady expansion across the Southwest.

“We’re excited to bring Angry Chickz to Goodyear and continue growing our presence in Arizona,” said David Mkhitaryan, founder and CEO of Angry Chickz.

“This brand was built on great food, great service and a lot of personality. Seeing that resonate in new markets is what makes this growth so rewarding, especially as we continue expanding through franchising.”

Angry Chickz serves generous portions, quality ingredients and a range of heat levels designed for both first-timers and spice chasers. Among the menu items are two hot chicken sliders with slaw, pickles and fries (1,520 calories); two hot chicken tenders over toast with pickles and fries (1,030 calories); one hot chicken slider and one tender over toast with slaw, pickles and fries (1,280 calories) and two hot chicken tenders over buttery rice topped with slaw pickles and its “secret sauce” (1,980 calories).

Bowls—hangry fix, angry mac and angry fries—as well as sides, including mac and cheese, are available as well.

Diners must sign a waiver when ordering the “Angry” heat level.

Mkhitaryan founded Angry Chickz in 2018 in a 900-square-foot storefront in LA’s East Hollywood neighborhood. He said he has created the “perfect recipe” for the brand’s signature spicy chicken tenders.
