The Duchess, Baron and Colonel Trucks

Did someone say mobile bar? The Duchess, Baron and their newest fleet member, the Colonel, are mobile bar trucks based out of Scottsdale that offer bartending services and travel to events, social functions, weddings and more. The Duchess truck is a champagne color and comes decked out with custom cabinets, a 2-tap keg system, ice sink, chalkboard, decor, cocktail marquee sign and cafe lights. The Baron truck, formerly a 1973 Citroen HY van from France decorated with black with gold and silver accents, comes decked out with custom cabinets, wood bar top, custom chalkboard and vintage cocktail marquee sign. Their most recent addition, the Colonel truck, is a 1958 International Harvester Metro that’s black with red accents and comes decked out with two 10 ft bar tops, custom cabinets and bar marquee sign.

Soundbite also has a fully equipped recording studio and guests can enjoy freshly-prepared food from their kitchen.

Rolling Rack

If you feel like going shopping but don’t want to make a trip to the mall, Rolling Rack is your new shopping best friend. Rolling Rack is a traveling 34-foot-long clothing boutique packed with tops, pants, dresses and jewelry all so stylishly laid out you’ll forget you’re in a traveling boutique! Make it a more memorable experience by taking photos at their decorated selfie station with selfie wall, try on which pieces speak to you in their fitting room, and enjoy the flat screen TV and music on their sound system. They travel for private events, attend public events and have a brick and mortar location in Scottsdale that opened in early December.

SEEDs for Autism

SEEDs for Autism is a Phoenix-based 501 (c)3 vocational training program dedicated to teaching autistic/Asperger adults across the spectrum a multitude of job skills related to the arts. They provide job development training, vocational rehabilitation and a SEEDs for Autism summer program—which are day camps for youth ages 15+ where they learn skills and participate in projects in science, culinary, computers, writing, arts and crafts and drama.

In a small classroom setting with a small teacher: student ratio, they are taught art skills including welding, sewing, weaving, woodturning, ceramics and jewelry. Their mobile boutique provides students a chance to engage with the community and operate the mobile store — the boutique sells handmade products made by SEEDs students including natural soap, loose-leaf tea, jewelry, home and garden tools, decorations and more.

The Joy Bus

The Joy Bus Diner is a nonprofit restaurant in Phoenix that serves made-to-order breakfast and lunch every Tuesday through Sunday from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. — all proceeds support nonprofit organization The Joy Bus, which collects and cooks donated food for volunteers to deliver to homebound cancer patients around the Valley. Over time, The Joy Bus Diner expanded into the nonprofit, The Joy Bus, which fulfills its mission to relieve the daily struggles of homebound cancer patients with a fresh meal and friendly face with the support of community partners and many local chefs serving on The Joy Bus Board of Directors.

Farm Express

Fresh produce is coming your way! Farm Express by Discovery Triangle serves fresh produce to individuals, families, educators and more in Phoenix and Tempe as a way to increase access to affordable and healthy food. The mobile produce market aims to enhance the health of Valley residents by not only increasing access, availability and affordability of fresh produce, but also providing health and wellness resources to empower community members to make healthy choices. Since it was launched in 2014, Farm Express makes its way through community gathering places such as schools, senior centers, health clinics, and neighborhoods throughout Phoenix and Tempe.
