Glendale will rename a portion of Bethany Home Road as Cardinals Way

Lifestyle | 20 Feb |

Football season may be over, but the Arizona Cardinals are on a winning postseason drive that will let fans roll into State Farm Stadium on Cardinals Way — a newly named stretch of road.

The City of Glendale will  rename a section of Bethany Home Road in recognition of the significant economic and community impact the NFL’s Arizona Cardinals football team has had on Glendale, the West Valley and the entire state of Arizona.

State Farm Stadium has hosted two Super Bowls, the NCAA Men’s Final Four, College Football Championships, and will once again host the Superbowl in 2023.

The formal celebration, which will include the unveiling of the new Cardinals Way sign, will take place Monday, February 25, 2019. Program speakers will include Arizona Cardinals President Michael J Bidwill, Glendale Mayor Jerry P. Weiers, and Vice Mayor Joyce Clark.
