2020 Troon Card includes even more courses
Troon, the leader in club management, development and marketing, is expanding its popular Troon Card frequent player program in 2020 to include more golf courses. 2020 Troon Cards officially go on sale on Tuesday, October 1 at www.TroonCard.com. In addition, the world’s largest golf management company is introducing a new Patriot Troon Card for active duty, reserve and retired military to save on golf at Troon-managed and brand-affiliated facilities around the world.
In 2020, more than 125 courses are participating in the industry-leading program (up from 112 courses in 2019). As in prior years, the 2020 Troon Card is available as a TwoSome Card and FourSome Card, is offered for specific states and regions of the country, and provides preferred golf fees of up to 50 percent at participating Troon-managed and brand-affiliated courses.
With Troon acquiring OB Sports in April 2019 and Green Golf Partners in May 2019, a number of OB Sports and Green Golf Partners-managed facilities have been added to the 2020 card program, with more expected to be added in the coming months. New courses for 2020 currently include:
• Angel Park Golf Club in Las Vegas, Nev.
• Cape Royal Golf Club in Cape Coral, Fla.
• Eagle Mountain Golf Club in Fountain Hills, Ariz.
• McDowell Mountain Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz.
• Monarch Beach Golf Links in Dana Point, Calif.
• Ocotillo Golf Club in Chandler, Ariz.
• Palm Valley Golf Club in Goodyear, Ariz.
• Papago Golf Course in Phoenix, Ariz.
• Sedona Golf Resort in Sedona, Ariz.
• Tijeras Creek Golf Club in Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif.
The new Patriot Troon Card is now available for active duty, reserve and retired military personnel and offers the same incredible benefits as a National Troon TwoSome Card, including up to 50 percent off the standard rate for the Cardholder and a guest at ALL participating Troon-managed and brand-affiliated courses around the world. The Patriot Troon Card is available for $249, a 58 percent savings over the regular National Troon TwoSome Card, with a portion of the sale of each card benefitting the Folds of Honor Foundation. The mission of Folds of Honor is to provide post-secondary educational scholarships for children and spouses of military service men and women killed or disabled in the line of duty. Those interested in purchasing a Patriot Troon Card will be required to register (free of charge) through the Sheer ID military service verification program. The Patriot Troon Card can be purchased by visiting www.TroonCard.com.
State and region-specific Troon Cards available in 2020 include Alabama, Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Kansas/Missouri, New York, Northeast U.S., North Carolina, Southeast U.S., Texas, Tucson and Utah. In addition, the National Troon Card offers Cardholders preferred rates at all participating Troon facilities, including properties across the continental United States, Hawaii, and international facilities. Plus, some state-specific cards also include “bonus states” so Cardholders can tee it up in neighboring states. All Troon Cards offer discounts at Troon’s international locations.
Troon Cardholders can reserve tee times within three-days of their desired date of play and enjoy up to 50 percent off golf fees. For those who can’t wait until three days out to book their tee time, with Troon Card’s Best Rate Guarantee, Troon Cardholders can book any online rate and still receive 15 percent off their golf fees at check-in. The benefits of being a Troon Cardholder go beyond savings on golf. Troon Cardholders can improve their golf games by participating in complimentary clinics, play more golf with exclusive replay rates and explore the world of Troon with customized experience packages. Troon Cardholders can treat their friends, and themselves, to “2 for 1” golf offers and can celebrate their birthday in style with “birthday round” discounts. Plus, throughout 2020, Troon will host quarterly appreciation events for top-spending Cardholders.
Additional Troon Card benefits include the Troon Card Facebook Group and Text Club, which provides instant news and special offers exclusively to Cardholders, 10 percent off merchandise at participating golf shops and golf course restaurants, Troon Card E-News with monthly special offers and the ability to book tee times online at www.TroonCardTeeTimes.com.
