Phoenix Festival of the Arts is right around the corner. The weekend-long celebration of arts, music, and culinary delights takes place December 13-15, 2019 in Hance Park. With more than 170 art vendors, and a full lineup of live music and entertainment taking place on three stages, it’s the perfect time to shop local and celebrate the season.
The Festival’s Main Stage, sponsored by Rebel Lounge, includes some of the best local bands in town. Friday talent includes Sunkissed, Meet the Sun, Snailmate, and House of Stairs. Saturday features School of Rock, Megan & Shane, The Woodworks, Celebration Guns, and Dr. Delicious. Sunday caps things off with Optimystical, John Cornelio, The Blood Feud Family Singers, Moonlight Magic, Hyperbella, and The Maya Spectra.
The Entertainment Pavilion features art demonstrations, circus performances, dance ensembles, spoken word poets, choral groups, and more! The Acoustic Stage, sponsored by Soliloquies, will feature some amazing up-and-coming acts from around the Valley. A full lineup of all three stages can be found at https://phoenixfestivalofthearts.org/entertainment.
Both adults and kids can participate in the Phoenix Mural Project, a hands-on community art project that is a signature component of the Festival, allowing them to paint and create alongside professional local artists. The Phoenix Festival of the Arts Family Zone, presented by the Teen Artist Guild, provides fun, free activities for families all day long.
Beer and wine, sponsored by Hensley Beverage Company and Dos Cabezas Winery, respectively, can be carried throughout the Festival grounds. This year’s culinary lineup includes 2 Fat Guys Grilled Cheese, Be Crepeful LLC, Firehouse Kettle Corn, Freak Brothers Pizza, Hot Bamboo, Hummus Xpress, Kemet Foods, Later Tater Food Truck, Lulu’s Sorbetto, Mein Man, StrEAT Gyro, and more!
On Friday, December 13th, Phoenix Festival of the Arts will host the Best of Show Awards reception after Festival hours. This exclusive event is typically open only to Phoenix Festival of the Arts artists, volunteers, and sponsors. Now, for the first time ever, this event is open to the public.
