The Chandler Chamber Ostrich Festival announces Waste Management as the “Environmental Wellness” partner for the 30th anniversary event, furthering the festival’s commitment to supporting the local community through sustainable practices.

As a result of this partnership, the Ostrich Festival will offer recycling for the first time in the event’s 30-year history. Waste Management will provide recycling receptacles that will be placed throughout the festival, affording guests with the opportunity to help the Chandler Chamber eliminate waste by doing their part to protect the environment.

“Chandler is an innovative city and we are very proud that Waste Management has come onboard to offer sustainability services to our event,” said Terri Kimble, CEO of the Chandler Chamber of Commerce. “We look forward to a long relationship where we can continue to support sustainable practices within the local community.”

Waste Management is a pioneer in recycling and has a long history of helping local events operate more sustainably. “Chandler residents already recycle at home,” said Waste Management Spokesperson Isha Cogborn. “Being able to support efforts at Ostrich Festival reinforces the commitment to sustainable living all day, every day.”
