Developers hope to make washing dog easy with in-home dog shower
No longer will you have to wrestle with your dog outside with the hose (and risk the dog playing in the mud, again) or finagle your pooch into a tub.
Luxury home developers, Toll Brothers, have introduced an in-home dog shower as an option at Turquesa, a Scottsdale community of 20 estate-sized homes.
Like the shower in the model home’s sumptuous master bath, the dog shower features a fetching design. It’s a sleek glass enclosure with beautiful ceramic tile and a multi-functional hand sprayer that makes dog washing an easy task. Just beware of the inevitable wet dog shake.
Situated in the laundry room, dog showers are a practical solution for cleaning dirty, muddy paws before your four-legged family members traipse through the house.
It’s no wonder that Scottsdale sets the scene for the latest and greatest in putting on the dog. Last year, Scottsdale ranked No. 4 on the realtor.com Top 10 American Cities for Dogs report.
The criteria was based upon number of households that own a dog; amenities like dog parks and trails; dog-friendly restaurants and bars; availability of pet services; and the number of professional dog walkers, per capita.
The in-home dog shower is available at all of Toll Brothers new home communities. Homes at the Turquesa community price from the low $1 millions.
