Hilton Worldwide (NYSE: HLT) appointed Jay Kriske to be its general manager of Hilton Sedona Resort at Bell Rock.
Kriske will oversee the day-to-day operations of the newly renovated, 219-room resort with 25,000 square-feet of wellness, fitness and spa amenities, three heated pools and three lighted tennis courts, two restaurants and the largest conference facilities in Northern Arizona.
The resort offers a respite with sweeping views of the iconic Bell Rock and locally-inspired guest experiences focused on adventure, exploration and rejuvenation. Kriske will report to Area Vice President, Ben Fusco.
“Jay brings an extraordinary pedigree of skill, knowledge and insight to Hilton Sedona Resort at Bell Rock” Fusco said. “Under his leadership the resort will continue to serve as a premier destination for visitors traveling to Sedona in search of adventure, relaxation and unique experiences.”
Most recently, Kriske held the position of resort manager at La Quinta Resort & Club, A Waldorf Astoria Resort where he had overall responsibility for the property.
During his tenure there, he successfully led the resort through various high level initiatives including a multi-million dollar renovation.
From 1991-2007 Kriske held various positions with increasing responsibility at The Phoenician Resort in Scottsdale. As an executive committee member, he was responsible for long and short term strategic positioning of the resort.
Hilton Sedona Resort’s Kriske was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois and moved to Arizona in 1978. He attended Scottsdale Community College where he earned a degree in Business Administration. He is an enthusiastic sports fan and loves the outdoors and Sedona’s active and tranquil lifestyle.
