Talking Stick Resort, an enterprise of the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community (SRPMIC), is celebrating its 10-year anniversary with a stellar concert series. This May, the Steve Miller Band, Johnny Mathis and Pitbull are lined up and ready to help us celebrate. 

The Steve Miller Band will kick-off the first of two concerts by Talking Stick Resort’s main pool on May 1, followed by “Mr. Worldwide,” Pitbull on May 22. Inside the resort, legendary singer-songwriter, Johnny Mathis will bring the many hits from six-decade career.  Tickets for all three shows will go on sale Friday, Feb. 14.

Steve Miller Band – The Pool Friday, May 1 at 8 p.m.

The Steve Miller band was formed in 1966. Led by singer-songwriter and namesake, Steve Miller, the group produced countless hits throughout the 70s and 80s. From “The Joker” to “Take the Money and Run,” “Jungle Love,” “Jet Airliner” and so many more, fans will be dancing in the aisles. The Steve Miller Band continues perform sell out shows across the country and is soon to be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame this June.

Johnny Mathis – Salt River Grand Ballroom Friday, May 8 at 8 p.m.

Over the course of his six-decade career, crooner Johnny Mathis has recorded nearly 70 albums, six Christmas albums and had 200 singles. Three of his songs have been inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame, 50 of them ranked on Billboard’s Adult Contemporary chart, and he will bring many of them to his show in the Salt River Grand Ballroom at Talking Stick Resort. Fans will not want to miss a chance to hear this living legend sings hits like, “Chances Are,” “Misty” and “It’s Not For Me to Say.”

Pitbull – The Pool Friday, May 22 at 8 p.m.

Armando Cristian Perez, better known as Pitbull, is an American rapper, songwriter, actor and record producer. His one-of-a-kind style, infectious energy and 300 singles has propelled “Mr. Worldwide” to superstar status. He has sold more than 100 million albums worldwide and has hit #1 in 15 countries. Hear hits like “Fireball,” “Give Me Everything” and “I Know You Want Me” poolside as Pitbull debuts at Talking Stick Resort.
