When it comes to the Best Al Fresco Restaurants in America, Arizona is the place to be.
Eight Arizona restaurants have been named one of OpenTable’s 100 Best Al Fresco Restaurants in America for 2019, which are selected for their stunning views, delicious menus and above all else, incredible outdoor dining experiences worth the trip. The list of honorees is based on an analysis of 12,000,000+ reviews, canvassing more than 30,000 restaurants across the country, all submitted by verified diners.
This year’s list features restaurants from 19 states and the District Columbia. California is at the top of the list with 31 restaurants — including The Ivy in West Hollywood, Catch L.A., and Bistro Jeanty in Yountville. Florida and Hawaii come in second with 26 and 10 restaurants, respectively. Arizona is third with eight winning restaurants.

It was the fifth consecutive year that Valley favorite LON’s at The Hermosa Inn has been named one of OpenTable’s 100 Best Al Fresco Restaurants in America.
With the 100-plus degree temperatures putting a damper on patio dining in the Valley, LON’s offers two perfectly climate-controlled options until the patio season returns, including Cool Dining in LON’s underground wine cellar. Only through September 15th, the hotel’s signature restaurant will open its private subterranean wine cellar to offer guests a special five-course tasting menu ($69++/person) along with a wine pairing option (additional $35/person).
