On Thursday, Dec. 8, popular quick-service restaurant brand eegee’s will open the doors to its fifth Phoenix location at I-17 and W. Bell Road, bringing its namesake frozen drink—an ice-cold concoction packed with chunks of real fruit—award-winning French fries, signature subs, grinders and its new chicken tender meal to its northernmost location.

The 2,300-square-foot space will have a contemporary design and includes a dining room partially enclosed by garage doors, a walk-up ordering window and a drive-thru with a special eegee-only window so that those ordering the beverage can quickly and conveniently exit the line.

On Thursday, Dec. 8, guests are invited to join eegee’s at the new location for grand opening celebrations, complete with fun family activities and eegee’s giveaways. Bringing the beats to eegee’s grand opening will be LIVE 101.5 which will host a remote onsite with Natasha Castles at the location from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.

To give back to the neighboring community, eegee’s has partnered with local non-profit, Homeward Bound, to host an on-site canned food drive starting on opening day and running through December 15. Homeward Bound helps to create pathways out of poverty for homeless families ready to make a change. Guests planning to visit the restaurant during opening week are encouraged to bring canned food items for donation.

“We’ve received an overwhelmingly positive response and warm welcome with each location we’ve opened in the Valley, and we’re thrilled to be opening our fifth store to serve even more residents in the area,” says CEO, Jason Vaughn. “We’re also honored to be partnering with local non-profit Homeward Bound, and hope that in the midst of the holidays, donations from our guests can help brighten this season for families in the community.”

In keeping with the tradition of offering an exclusive sticker for its grand openings, eegee’s invited their most creative fans to get in on the fun. Last month, eegee’s hosted a competition on its social media channels where followers could submit a design to be featured on the highly coveted sticker. The winner of the competition was eegee’s fan Natalia Serrano. The special edition sticker will be gifted to the first 5,000 guests at the new location starting on Dec. 8, until supplies last.

eegee’s is continuing its expansion throughout Arizona, as well as planning for out-of-state expansion in the future. For updates on eegee’s expansion plans, stay tuned on social media at @eegees.
