Fox Restaurant Concepts, founded by creative visionary and restaurateur Sam Fox, today announced its plans to open four new Valley locations in 2020, including Blanco Tacos + Tequila in downtown Phoenix, Culinary Dropout in north Scottsdale and Flower Child and North Italia in Gilbert.

“We are continuously looking for dynamic, fast-growing neighborhoods and all of our newest locations are natural choices for our next phase of expansion for our restaurant brands in Arizona,” said Sam Fox.

Blanco Tacos & Tequila opening in downtown Phoenix

Opening in the first half of 2020, the new Blanco location in downtown Phoenix will be housed in a 6,997-square-foot space on the ground floor of Block 23, a high-profile mixed-use development. Located on the corner of Jefferson and Second streets, the restaurant will be directly across the street from sister restaurant, The Arrogant Butcher.

The new Phoenix location will provide guests with an eccentric and bright experience full of energy, perfect for a downtown crowd. The restaurant will have a bar experience that will be alive all day, every day coupled with Blanco’s famous modern Mexican menu. The food will offer everyone’s Blanco favorites, and at this location, the menu will incorporate new items to complement its classics.

The new Blanco is located at 330 East Roosevelt Street. For more information, visit blancotacostequila.com.

Culinary Dropout opening at Scottsdale Quarter

Culinary Dropout will open its second location in Scottsdale, and sixth Arizona restaurant, at Scottsdale Quarter, one of the Valley’s premier shopping destinations. Situated along 73rd Place across the street from The Quad and Splash Fountain, the new location recently broke ground and is currently slated to open in the spring of 2020.

“We are grateful to our guests for the continued success of Culinary Dropout. With new developments taking place at Scottsdale Quarter and our sister restaurant, Zinbuger across the street, it felt like a great match,” said Fox. “From the beginning, we created this restaurant to be a casual and energetic spot where everyone can go to have a good time and enjoy classic comfort food and creative cocktails. We are very excited to continue just that and add onto it with unique private dining spaces and yard games.”

The 15,798-square-foot space will be a completely new build featuring indoor-outdoor seating, private dining spaces and an outdoor entertainment area with games like cornhole, ping-pong and shuffleboard.

The new Culinary Dropout is located at 15125 North Scottsdale Road. For more information, visit culinarydropout.com.

Both restaurants will be new builds and housed in one, L-shaped building which will include a shared court yard lined with a beautiful grove of trees. The space will feature a shared private dining room and both restaurants will have patios which can be opened up to become one large space for events.
