Geordie’s Restaurant & Lounge located inside the historic Wrigley Mansion Club has reopened for the season with a handsome new look and an all-new menu. The menu showcases Italian influenced steaks and seafood. The 80-plus-year-old estate is also looking better than ever thanks to a remodeling that includes, crisp new paint across the Mansion’s interiors and exteriors, while Geordie’s boasts new table settings. The wait staff wasn’t left out of the update. They received stylish new staff outfits, including classic white dress shirts offset with black ties and black vests.

The fresh look continues right into the completely modernized kitchen, where new Executive Chef Robert Nixon, a veteran of prestigious kitchens such as Christopher’s and Donovan’s Steakhouse, has planned a all new menu.

The menu incorporates house-made pastas and breads, and herbs fresh-plucked from the Wrigley’s on-property garden. Expect decadent starters such as crunchy crostini bread served with creamy Ricotta and honeycomb, from-scratch zuppas (soups) such as the Crimini & Portobello topped with a Parmesan puffed pastry, as well as an extensive selection of farm-fresh salads, and hearty sandwiches such as Italian Steak with giardiniera (pickled veggies). Plus, enjoy a daily selection of pastas, risottos, and pizza-like flatbreads from their in-house bakery.

Main courses also have a timeless Italian flare, including tagliatelle served with the chef’s daily seafood selection and pappardelle with roasted seasonal vegetables. For meat lovers, there’s an extensive selection of top-quality chops, including Pork alla Milanese (breaded, sautéed, served with arugula, olive oil, charred lemon, and shaved Parmesan), and the signature Bisteca alla Fiorentina (porterhouse for two-served with choice of three sauces and two side dishes). Meanwhile, Seafood fans, will love the ever-changing Pesce del Giorno (fish of the day), or the build-your-own Fruiti di Mare (seafood platter.) Main courses are customizable with a choice of six decedent sauces, including Peppercorn Grappa and Lemon-Pesto, while the more than a dozen family-style side dishes range from creamy Pancetta Mac & Cheese and smoky Roasted Acorn Squash, to a daily risotto special.  stk20341wnePair it all with a handcrafted cocktail or a fine wine from the Wrigley’s world-renowned collection.
