The third annual Spring Training Charity Poker Classic will return to W Scottsdale on Saturday, March 2. Attendees will play for their chance to win the grand prize, a $10,000 seat to the 2013 World Series of Poker.

Guests are invited to join professional athletes and celebrities in a friendly game of poker in support of the Mike Coolbaugh Memorial Fund. The Mike Coolbaugh Memorial Fund was established by the Tulsa Drillers baseball team when their coach, Mike Coolbaugh died after being struck in the neck by a line drive in 2007. The fund was created to help his widowed wife raise their family and celebrates Mike’s passion for life and commitment to living each day for others and to the fullest

Celebrities to attend this year’s event include: Andrew Cashner (San Diego Padres), Brent Celek (Philadelphia Eagles, NFL), Cliff Pennington (Arizona Diamondbacks), Casper Wells (Mariners), Charlie Furbush (Mariners), Chris Getz (Kansas City Royals), Joe McEwing (Third Base Coach of the Chicago White Sox), Matt Albers (Cleveland Indians), Scott Coolbaugh (Hitting Coach of the Texas Rangers) and more.

Guests that would like to participate in the poker tournament can register for a pre-event buy-in starting at $175. Walk-up buy-ins will be available for purchase the day of the event starting at $200. Registration begins at 6:00 p.m., and the event begins at 8 p.m.

The top ten winners will receive exclusive gift bags with specialty items from luxury sponsors including Synergy, AthElite, Evo Shield, Athletes Chef, and Trunk Club.
