This Valentine’s day El Chorro restaurant will feature a menu filled with romantic options. A few of these include: Hearts of Romaine with Lobster Vinaigrette or Roasted Valentine Pepper Bisque with crispy red beets, a Lovebird Duo of pan-roasted chicken breast and leg confit with herb crust; a Center Cut Filet with Sweet(heart) Potato Gratin and Chilean Sea Bass with Wild-for-you Mushroom Ravioli.
For dessert, Chocolate Hearts features a dark chocolate cake served with white chocolate mousse and milk chocolate ganache. For the musically inclined, pianist Jeffrey Siegel will be performing romantic compositions by Franz Liszt, including “Liebesträume.” The performance will include a state of the art video display that allows the audience to see the pianist’s hands moving across the keyboard from any seat in the theater. Jeffrey Siegel will converse about each composition after performing it, while offering insight about the composer’s life.

This annual event in the historic part of Downtown Glendale celebrates chocolate and romance. With more than 30 chocolate specialty vendors, there is no shortage of this delicious treat. The event will occur at Murphy Park and admission is free.

The Saguaro Hosts the I Heart AZ Party
On Saturday, February 11 The Saguaro is hosting an I Heart AZ Party in celebration of both Valentine’s Day and Arizona’s 100th birthday. From 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., the Tony Martinez band will be featured, along with wine tasting, a pop-up shop, locally-grown hors d’oeuvres, and a charity kissing booth. The Saguaro’s art exhibitions will have a special show by 3 Car Pile Up, then from 7-10 p.m. the party will continue with music by DJ Melo.
