Mortera also spearheaded the rollout of Alliance InStyle, providing on-site associates with high-quality, fashionable career apparel options in partnership with specialty apparel retailer The Limited. Mortera has more than 15 years of industry experience, holds a Masters in Art History and Archeology from Southern Methodist University and a Masters of Education from University of Phoenix. She is a certified Apartment Manager, an industry leader and speaker, and has been published in several professional journals.

Alexis Vance joined Alliance Residential in 2007 as National Director of Marketing and has been named Vice President of Marketing.
