Mike Chernine
With the strategy of learning the business from the inside out, Michael Chernine started his real estate career in 1988 at Nevada Title Company in customer service researching legal descriptions and maps and eventually the Commercial Escrow Department working on high liability escrow transactions. Some notable transactions he worked on were the assemblage for The Mirage Hotel and the disposition of the Hacienda Hotel. In 1990, at the age of 22, Michael began orchestrating land assemblages for local homebuilders and shortly thereafter started raising private equity to acquire strategic land via syndication through his company, LandBaron Investments. Throughout his career, Michael’s companies have been involved with the design & development of mixed-use, multi-family, office, industrial, retail, resort, master-planned communities, and digital billboards. Since 2015, he has focused on mid-bay and cross dock industrial projects in Las Vegas and Boise as a principal in Brass Cap Development. In 2021, Mike and Jason formed IndiCap to develop large, institutional industrial projects. Michael possesses a broad range of experience in all stages of market cycles and quite possibly may never retire. Michael has a keen eye for securing prime or hard to obtain land and possesses experience in complex deal structures.
