U.S. News & World Report, a nationally recognized publisher of consumer advice and information, recognized the Boulders Resort & Spa as one of the “Best Hotels in Arizona” in its annual evaluation of hotels that offer high-quality amenities and exceptional experiences. The Boulders was named one of the “Best Hotels in Arizona” based on its exceptional reputation and very high marks from hotel guests and travel writers that applaud the resort’s unpretentious ambience in the rugged Sonoran desert.  The Boulders Resort also earned top rankings in categories: “Best Golf Hotel in Arizona,” Best Spa Hotel in Arizona” and “Best Wedding Hotel in Arizona.” The Boulders Resort has earned a spot on U.S. News’s most selective list since 2011.

“We are honored to be recognized again,” said Sally Shaffer, the Boulder’s General Manager.  “This further acknowledges our ongoing commitment to service excellence.”

The Best Hotels methodology combines a hotel’s industry accolades with expert and guest reviews and hotel class ratings. The rankings feature over 2,500 hotels across the United States, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean. According to U.S. News editor, “The Best Hotels are adored by industry experts and travelers alike for their great amenities, comfortable rooms and exemplary service. The guest rooms, or casitas, at the Boulders Resort & Spa, Curio Collection by Hilton in Scottsdale, Arizona (roughly 32 miles north of downtown Phoenix) look out over miles of cacti and rugged mountains. When you’re not admiring the views from your private patio or balcony, order room service and curl up in front of your wood-burning fireplace. You can also play golf on one of two courses, lounge by one of four pools or grab a bite to eat at one of five restaurants. However, according to recent visitors, you’d be remiss if you stayed here and didn’t indulge in a treatment at the massive on-site spa. And because of the resorts ties to Hilton Hotels, members of the Hilton Honors loyalty program can use points to pay for rooms – that means additional cash to invest in massages and facials.”
