More than 75 companies launched based on ASU innovations

ASU spinouts (and their sub-licensees) have raised more than half a billion dollars in external funding of ASU Innovations. ASU startups now employ more than 350 people in Arizona alone.

Significant 2015 Investments for ASU Startups:

  • Fluidic Energy – Rechargeable zinc-air battery developer with R&D and manufacturing facilities in North Scottsdale.
  • HealthTell – First diagnostic platform that can assess realtime immune system response to specific diseases.
  • Heliae – Platform technology using both sunlight and low-cost carbon feedstocks to produce high-value products from algae.
