David Cade, the highest ranking career official in the Office of the General Counsel of the United States Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), joined Polsinelli effective today. Most recently, Cade served as Deputy General Counsel to HHS. Cade cited the firm’s deep commitment to being at the forefront of healthcare reform and innovation as a key factor in deciding to join Polsinelli’s Health Care Practice, which is ranked as the fourth largest in the nation by both Modern Healthcare and The American Health Lawyers Association.

“David brings deep experience and a broad perspective of government that will greatly assist our clients as we navigate what is happening in healthcare,” said Polsinelli Health
Care Chair Matt Murer. “During the next five years there will be more changes to the
nation’s healthcare system than during the last 30 years combined. I cannot overstate the
value he will bring to our clients. We are pleased to have him join our health care team.”
