Kneaders Bakery & Café, known for scratch-made artisanal European hearth breads has announced its first location in Phoenix. Set to open near the intersection of Indian School Road and 44th Street at the end of July 2016, this newest location will delight and nourish Phoenix diners.

Founded by Gary and Colleen Worthington in 1997, the company prides itself on using only the highest-quality ingredients to create all menu items, including Kneaders’ famous European hearth breads.

Made from scratch at each location, bakers create eleven varieties daily, including French Country Sourdough, Rosemary Focaccia, and Hazelnut 12 Grain.  They also make their famous Chunky Cinnamon bread daily, which is used to make the restaurant’s celebrated Chunky Cinnamon French toast.

The Kneaders menu offers a variety of delicious signature sandwiches including the Famous Turkey Bacon Avocado, Chicken Cheese and Ham and Chicken Pesto Panini, along with hearty soups and salads, plus more than 42 fresh-made pastries.

“We know Phoenicians know good food and we’re excited to be able to bring the Kneaders experience to the heart of the Valley,” said James Worthington, CEO of Kneaders. “We take pride in getting to know the community we serve and look forward to giving back and supporting its members on a regular basis.”

The opening of this Phoenix location will mark the 16th in Arizona, and the 13th in the Valley, all with a charming, family-friendly environment. Each location also offers a unique selection of seasonal and home décor, as well as custom-made gift baskets, along with complete catering options for various sized events and budgets.
