FAVORITES
Sports: Rodeos. My husband and I go to the National Finals of Rodeo every year in Las Vegas. My favorite event is barrel racing. Farm league baseball is also a favorite.
Music: Mostly British rock stars — Sting, U2, Coldplay, Eric Clapton and Peter Gabriel.
Destinations: My absolute favorite trip of all time was to Ireland two years ago with my husband. We traveled throughout the southern half of the country. The people were kind and the scenery was incredibly beautiful. My second favorite destination is Manhattan.
Activities: I love horseback riding more than anything. Reading is my second favorite activity.
PERSONAL INSIGHT
I am an avid bass fisherman and have spent days in a fishing camp in Los Mochis, Mexico on Lake Huites fishing 10 hours a day. I also own three Sicilian donkeys (miniature) named Biscuit, Fiona and Mariah.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS
 Just after college, I accepted a position with the Jackson office of Ernst & Young. From there I joined a company called Delta and Pine Land Co. My next big adventure was my move to Arizona, which led to a career opportunity with Del Webb in 1995. In 2002, I left Pulte to join AAM and was promoted to president of the company. Since then, AAM has grown from 85 employees to 225, with more than 300 communities under contract for community management.
ADVICE
Received: Always take the high road; honesty is the best policy.
To Share: It seems that in every community and with every real estate deal, there will always be the 2% that we cannot please or accommodate to their satisfaction. Do not beat yourself up trying to win a no-win situation. The other 98% needs your attention and care, and will be the reason for your repeat or referral business.
