U.S. News & World Report, a nationally recognized publisher of consumer advice and information, has again recognized the Boulders Resort & Spa with the prestigious “Gold Badge” award and named this luxury desert hideaway as one of the “Best Hotels in Arizona.”

The Boulders Resort is applauded for its unpretentious ambience in the rugged Sonoran desert and has earned a spot on U.S. News’ most selective list since 2011.

“This accolade reflects and reinforces our commitment to deliver exceptional experiences here at the Boulders,” said Howard Harris, the Boulder’s general manager. “In addition to our recent resort-wide renovations, we soon will complete a new renovation to our Clubhouse facility. It is an honor to be acknowledged for our continued efforts to help bring our guest experience to an even higher level.”

The Boulders Resort is in good company with some of the “Gold Badge” resorts in the country such as the Waldorf Astoria Chicago and Waldorf Astoria Orlando.

Only the top 10 percent in the luxury hotel category scored Gold badges and 30 percent received Silver badges. The annual Best Hotels rankings evaluate more than 3,000 luxury properties across the United States, the Caribbean, Canada and Mexico, and are evaluated on high-quality amenities and exceptional experiences.
