Destiny Springs, a state-of-the-art behavioral healthcare facility, is now open and accepting patients at its new 90-bed facility in Surprise.

Destiny Springs was created when founder, Martin Newman, M.D., recognized the need for something different, something revolutionary in the behavioral health space. That is when he developed the idea to build a facility to meet these needs in a new way in the rapidly growing Phoenix area to help an underserved population with behavioral healthcare needs.

“The nation’s mental health crisis is at an all-time high, with one in five adults in the United States experiencing mental illness,” said Dr. Newman “Our services aim to fill this gap in the market, serving patients from all over the country.”

The 67,566-square-foot facility will offer both inpatient and outpatient treatment for non-court ordered patients, adolescents, adults, geriatric, professionals and first responders. The wide range of services offered include but are not limited to 23-hour observation, ketamine therapy, inpatient psychiatry and treatment plans for substance use, trauma, PTSD, eating disorders, chronic pain, anxiety, depression, etc.

What’s more is their designated VIP unit is aimed to offer high profile patients an experience with an added level of privacy. The unit also offers more comfortable single patient rooms complete with mountainous views, private dining options, an internet café, etc. This unit is attractive to more higher profile patients who seek treatment with a more exclusive experience.

“It is our honor for all of us at Destiny Springs to work to make a difference in the lives of individuals who are affected by any mental health concern said Burton Carriker, Destiny Springs Healthcare CEO. “We are thankful to be able to bring this level of service to a community in need.”

Destiny Springs Healthcare treats patients using a comprehensive, holistic approach.
