March Madness, or as we like to call it “Munch Madness,” is one of the biggest annual sporting events in the country, and we want to capitalize on its popularity by implementing a tournament-style contest to support local Arizona restaurants and increase engagement on social media. We received hundreds of submissions from people all over the state and meticulously narrowed the list down to 16 sandwiches worthy of inclusion in our inaugural “Road to the Final Fork” contest.
This year’s contest is to crown the Best Sandwich in Arizona.
Here is a summary of the contest rules and guidelines:

Fan-voted contest on Twitter
• Polls on Twitter will include:
1. Option to vote for either competing sandwich
2. Contest hashtag (#FinalFork)
3. Tagged restaurants
4. Link to contest summary/rules on azbigmedia.com
5. Extended thread with photos and descriptions of each sandwichHead-to-head matchups
• Each round of voting will last one week
• Winners of each round will be announced on Monday morning
• Next round of voting will begin once previous week’s winners are announced
Contest Dates & Deadlines
March 1: Contest voting begins.
March 1-7: Round 1 voting.
March 8-14: Round 2 voting.
March 14: Congratulate Final Fork restaurants.
March 15-21: Final Fork (semifinals) voting. Fan Contest begins.
March 22-28: Championship voting.
March 29: Winners are announced on website.

Final Fork Fan Contest
• Work with semifinal restaurants to create FinalFork promo code for percentage off order of the participating sandwich.
• As a part of our contest promotion, we will encourage voters to use the promo codes to try all four sandwiches before voting for their favorite.
• Each voter that shares a photo of themselves eating the sandwich with the following contest criteria will become eligible to win a prize.
1. Follows @azbigmedia on Twitter
2. Tags @azbigmedia within post
3. Tags corresponding restaurant within post (if tag is available)
4. Uses contest hashtag #FinalFork within post
• Each participating contestant will be entered into one of four pools based on the sandwich that they tried. If a contestant tries all four and shares a photo of each, they will be entered into all four pools.
• When a winning sandwich is declared, we will pick a random contestant’s name out the winning sandwich’s pool. That fan will win a prize.
