Arizona Dermatology, the leading dermatology practice in the state, has expanded, opening offices in Apache Junction, Quartzsite, Coolidge, and Mesa during the last year. The acclaimed practice now has seven locations state-wide.

In October 2016, Arizona Dermatology acquired White Mountain Dermatology. Since then, Arizona Dermatology has completely renovated White Mountain Dermatology’s previous locations, updating the facilities to be in line with Arizona Dermatology standards, improving the overall quality and flow of the offices.

“We take great pride in our facilities,” said Dr. Ko, one of the owners of Arizona Dermatology. “We have the most up-to-date equipment, and a professional environment that makes our patients feel comfortable. It is the perfect setting for delivering the best possible skin care and treatment.”

Arizona Dermatology’s Apache Junction location originally opened in November 2016, but a new 6,000-square foot building was constructed from scratch and opened in September 2017. The new Coolidge location opened in December 2016, followed by the Quartzsite location in January 2017, both of which are completely remodeled, 1,900-square foot buildings. Then Arizona Dermatology relocated its Gilbert location to the newly renovated, 4,500-square foot Mesa location in June 2017.

“We wanted to bring our dermatology services to underserved areas,” said Dr. Ebner, an owner of Arizona Dermatology. “We are the only dermatology practice in the Coolidge-Florence, Quartzsite-Parker, and Apache Junction areas. Now those who live in these regions won’t have to commute so far to achieve healthy, beautiful skin.”

All of Arizona Dermatology’s offices offer state-of-the-art medical, surgical, and cosmetic skin care. The Phoenix, Paradise Valley, and Show Low locations also offer med spa services, and there are plans to expand these services to the Apache Junction location soon.

Additionally, several offices offer cutting-edge non-surgical skin cancer treatments. The Phoenix and Paradise Valley locations offer brachytherapy, and linear accelerator (LINAC). In fact, Arizona Dermatology was the first practice in the state to offer brachytherapy, and their on-staff radiation oncologist, Nicholas Flores, M.D. has successfully performed brachytherapy on more patients than any other dermatology practice in the country. Also, Superficial Radiation Therapy (SRT) is now available at the Mesa location, and will be available at the Apache Junction location in 2018. SRT is a painless, safe, and highly effective non-surgical skin cancer treatment. It is the latest version of radiation therapy, and Arizona Dermatology is one of the few locally-based practices to offer it in Arizona.

With the opening of these new locations, Arizona Dermatology now employs 115 people, and with all this growth, is looking to hire more. To apply for a position at the Mesa or Apache Junction locations, please fill out the contact form on the website.
