The latest study from GoBankingRates.com helps consumers identify the best checking accounts available in Phoenix.

In addition to identifying the highest checking account rates in Phoenix, GoBankingRates.com also compared the average checking account rate in Phoenix with the average rates in Arizona and the United States as a whole.
Although the average Phoenix checking account rate is relatively on par with the state average, both fall far below the national average of 0.26%.
KS State Bank, ranked No. 1 for highest checking account rates in the area, offers a rate more than seven times the national average, with an interest rate of 1.90% APY.
