As the Town of Queen Creek continues growing by leaps and bounds, Banner Health is doing its part to help meet the increasing demands of providing exceptional health care to residents in that area and nearby communities.

The Banner Health Center in Queen Creek recently celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony as it completed a $9.2 million expansion project. The new building adds a little more than 19,000 square feet to the existing 21,719-square-foot complex, along with 30 new exam rooms, bringing the total to 67. As part of its design, the new structure will help support a second floor should there be a need to expand in the future.

“Queen Creek and the surrounding area is vital to Banner Medical Group and Banner Health,” said Dr. David Valenzuela, primary care physician executive for Banner Health. “I am incredibly excited that we will continue to grow along with the community. Banner remains committed to providing world-class health care to Queen Creek, and to increasing opportunities for people to live and work in the community.”

As a result of this expansion project, expert physicians and advanced practice providers have been added to ensure patients get the care they deserve. These medical experts specialize in care that includes family medicine, internal medicine, sports medicine, pediatrics, behavioral health, and several other specialties.
