Walt Danley Realty, a Paradise Valley luxury real estate firm and Arizona’s exclusive affiliate of Christie’s International Real Estate, was a grand prize winner of the 4th Annual 2013 Super Service Challenge for its community service to St. Mary’s Food Bank. The award was a $25,000 donation to St. Mary’s Food Bank.

We look forward to doing it again in the challenge this fall, as well as supporting the organization by volunteering throughout the year.”
The 2013 Super Service Challenge was hosted by The Brees Dream Foundation and Companies With A Mission, which, together, awarded over $1,000,000 amongst hundreds of charities nationwide. There were four grand prize winners in total – Walt Danley Realty in Arizona, Wells Fargo in Florida, Eli Lilly and Company in Indiana, and Astoria Federal Savings in New York.
“With our ability to provide seven meals for each dollar, this gift of $25,000 will provide 175,000 meals to the hungry in our community,” states Gina Irons, corporate partnership officer for St. Mary’s Food Bank. “That’s impactful and important particularly given our hunger statistics in Arizona. Our sincere and most humble thank you to Walt Danley Realty.”
Drew Brees, founder of The Brees Dream Foundation and quarterback for the New Orleans Saints, was the official spokesperson for the Super Service Challenge this year.
“I’m honored to be part of the Super Service Challenge and excited to change the lives for thousands across the country,” said Brees. “What strikes me the most about the Super Service Challenge is the simplicity and magnitude of the mission. Uniting co-workers, students and friends to benefit the community is one of the most rewarding aspects of the mission.”
A panel of independent and celebrity judges, along with input from the public, selected the winning entries. Winners were awarded cash donations totaling over $1,000,000 given directly to the charities served by those winning teams. The winners were announced Jan. 9, 2014, just in time for the big game on Feb. 2.
