Fennemore Craig, a leading Mountain West law firm, announces the election of Steve Good as chair of the firm’s management committee, succeeding Tim Berg, who served in that capacity for 10 years. The shareholders of the firm also elected Sarah Strunk as chair of the firm’s board of directors and appointed Jay Kramer as a member of the firm’s five-person management committee.
“It has been an honor and a highlight of my legal career to serve as the firm’s managing partner,” said Tim Berg, who continues to serve on the firm’s management committee and chair the firm’s appellate practice. “The opportunity to work with such a great group of clients and colleagues and lead the firm through its expansion into Nevada and Colorado over the past 10 years has meant a great deal to me,” said Mr. Berg. “I look forward to working with Steve, Sarah and my fellow shareholders to continue to build an outstanding law firm.”
Mr. Good is a commercial transactions lawyer with an emphasis on complex tax planning and the structuring of business entities. He will chair the firm’s management committee. Mr. Good joined the firm in 1991 after earning his law degree from Duke University. He has an AV® Preeminent ™ Peer Review Rating (the highest rating available) by Martindale-Hubbell, and is listed in Best Lawyers in America (Corporate and Tax Law), Chambers USA as a leading lawyer for Business, and the Legal 500.

Sarah Strunk will lead the firm’s strategic growth, client service and professional development initiatives as chair of the firm’s board of directors. Ms. Strunk practices business and finance law with substantial experience with mergers and acquisitions, securities compliance, public private partnerships and corporate governance. She joined Fennemore Craig in 2000 and earned her law degree from the University of Kansas and her LL.M. from New York University School of Law. Her professional honors include an AV® Preeminent ™ Peer Review Rating (the highest rating available) by Martindale-Hubbell Best Lawyers in America; Chambers USA leading lawyers for business; the International Who’s Who of Mining Lawyers; Southwest Super Lawyer® in mergers and acquisitions; Arizona’s Top Lawyers by Arizona Business Magazine; and one of Arizona’s 50 Most Influential Women in Business by Arizona Business Magazine. She succeeds Robert Robinson, who is retiring from Fennemore Craig this year after a distinguished career with the firm as a leading real estate and finance attorney.
Jay Kramer, who practices in the areas of real estate transactions and finance, assumes a position on the firm’s management committee. Mr. Kramer’s recognitions include an AV® Preeminent ™ Peer Review Rating (the highest rating available) by Martindale-Hubbell; Best Lawyers in America®; Chambers USA as a leading lawyer for business; and designation as one of the Top 50 Southwest Super Lawyers® in real estate. Mr. Kramer earned his law degree and MBA from Vanderbilt University.
