Quarles & Brady LLP Phoenix office attorney Julia Koestner has been named a Top 50 Pro Bono Attorney by the Arizona Foundation for Legal Services & Education (AZFLSE).
Koestner was nominated by the Florence Immigrant and Refugee Rights Project. She and the other honorees will be recognized at the Arizona State Bar Convention this month.
Each year, AZFLSE recognizes 50 attorneys who have been nominated by Community Legal Services, DNA-People’s Legal Services, the Florence Immigrant and Refugee Rights Project, and Southern Arizona Legal Aid as attorneys who have gone above and beyond in their pro bono work.
“I’m honored to be named a top pro bono attorney in Arizona,” said Koestner. “I have enjoyed working with the Florence Immigrant and Refugee Rights Project and am looking forward to continuing my pro bono work with them.”
Julia is a member of the firm’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Group. She received her law degree, cum laude, from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University and her bachelor’s degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Arizona.
