Cox Communications announced that Arizona’s Susan Anable, Vice President of Public Affairs, Southwest Region, has won the prestigious Women in Cable Television (WICT) “Woman to Watch Award”. A global organization, WICT exists to create woman leaders who transform the cable television industry. Anable accepted the honor this week in New York City.

“I am deeply honored to be part of an organization that works so tirelessly to nurture and elevate women in the telecommunications industry,” said Anable.

According to WICT, the Woman to Watch Award “is bestowed on a woman who shows tremendous promise for transforming the industry through her professional accomplishments. She has already demonstrated exemplary leadership skills, as well as a strong dedication to the industry and her organization.”

A steadily rising star at Cox Communications since 2001, Anable is responsible for media relations, community relations, government affairs and internal communications for Cox in Arizona and Nevada. She currently serves as the Chair of the Arizona Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s Board of Directors, and has been appointed by Governor Doug Ducey to his Workforce Arizona Council. She graduated summa cum laude from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University.
