The Gilbert Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday recognized leaders of the organization and announced the recipients of their 13th Annual Business Awards, presented by Alliance Bank of Arizona.
All finalists are nominated by the local business community and award recipients are determined by a committee of peer Chamber members. The 2019 Annual Business Award recipients are:

Small Business of the Year – 910 West
Mid-Size Business of the Year – Arizona Veterinary Oncology
Large Business of the Year – Northrop Grumman
INDIVIDUAL CATEGORIES
Gilbert Chamber Volunteer of the Year – Emily Staples of FASTSIGNS of Gilbert
Gilbert Chamber Foundation Volunteer of the Year- Barb Dwyer of Highland High School
Gilbert Leadership Award – Rudy Apodaca of Dignity Health
Businessman of the Year- Ralph Willett of Ralph Willett CPA
Businesswoman of the Year- Elaine Kessler of Elaine Kessler Photography
The luncheon included the Gilbert Chamber and Foundation year-in-review, delivered by current Chairman of the Board, Eric Reber, Owner/President of SpeedPro Imaging of Mesa-Gilbert.
“This month, we have officially surpassed a significant milestone in our Chamber’s history,” Reber said. “We now have more than 800 members and we are ending the year with an 84 percent renewal rate, the highest in our history.”
Reber recognized the organizations committee chairpersons and outgoing members of the Board of Directors, including Todd Brundrett of Norwood Furniture, Rick Kettner of Orbital ATK, Jeff Mirasola of Centurylink, and Sonja Shaw of Wells Fargo. Reber also recognized the incoming Gilbert Chamber Board Chairman, Matt Streeper of SRP.
The Annual Business Awards Luncheon was held on Wednesday, June 19th at the DoubleTree by Hilton Phoenix-Gilbert SanTan Elegante Conference Center in Gilbert. The luncheon was presented by Alliance Bank of Arizona.
