Caliber purchases more land in Colorado

Caliber – The Wealth Development Company has closed a deal to purchase 24 acres of undeveloped land in Johnstown, Colorado. Planned for commercial use, the property is located next to the company’s mixed-use development, The Ridge, and will serve its residents and the surrounding community. Located on the northeast quadrant of the new 402/I-25 Interchange, the future commercial developments will be easily accessible from the I-25 and new roundabouts.

“Caliber is building deep roots in Johnstown,” said Roy Bade, Caliber Chief Development Officer. “We are committed to helping provide for the community’s growing commercial and residential development needs while maintaining its small-town charm.”

This acquisition brings the company’s portfolio of owned land in Johnstown to more than 280 acres. Earlier this year, Caliber announced deals with Aspen View Homes and Bridgewater Homes to bring 208 single family homes to The Ridge during phase one of development. With carefully planned neighborhoods, community parks and commercial space, The Ridge has been deliberately designed to reflect the close-knit community feel of Johnstown while addressing the area’s growing need for additional housing and services.

InEight launches ‘Building Confidence’ community relations program

InEight is officially launching its community relations activities via a new global program titled “Building Confidence.” The program is focused on encouraging InEight employees to engage in socially responsible activities in the communities where they live and work. InEight is partnering with local and global organizations in this new initiative to support greater access to food and care, along with science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education programs.

“With a strong community relations program, we’re providing opportunities for employees to give back, live out our core values and build relationships with each other. All of this ultimately helps create a culture that matters and enhances the employee experience,” says Scott Workman, chief administrative officer, InEight.

InEight supports organizations such as Lift Urban Portland in Oregon. “With support from the community, Lift UP reduces hunger and improves the lives of low-income residents in Northwest and Downtown Portland,” says Brett Williams, community outreach and marketing manager for Lift UP. “We are happy to receive support from organizations such as InEight.”

InEight also works closely with Phoenix Children’s Hospital and the American Cancer Society to support access to care for those who need it the most. In addition, InEight partners with the Boys & Girls Club of Scottsdale, Arizona on activities aimed at increasing STEM activities within each of its centers.

“While InEight is making a difference in the capital projects industry, the impact we make on our surrounding communities helps define our organization’s success,” adds Workman.

Award-winning golf course celebrates 20 years

Quintero Golf Club – ranked as the #1 public golf course in Arizona by Golf Digest – is excited to celebrate two decades of unforgettable golf experiences in the upcoming year 2020. The Rees Jones design sits on 828 acres with a layout that is undeniably difficult and is nestled in the serene foothills of Peoria, Arizona surrounded by the Hieroglyphic Mountains.

The once exclusive, invite-only luxury golf club, opened in 2000 as Quintero Golf and Country Club. After a few years, the original and former owner had trouble grappling the steep costs as the economy plummeted, and the course was bought in 2011 by a Scottsdale company, Infinity Capital Golf Resources LLC, in efforts to save the floundering property.

To rake the course out of the bunkers, new management initiated dynamic pricing, opened it to the public, invested in advanced golf technology and more. In just a couple years, the picturesque property became a raving success receiving recognition as one of the best and most challenging courses in the nation. The nationally ranked golf course attracts notable athletes and public figures from far and wide, including Roy Green, Marcus Allen, Tom Hoge, and Ricky Barns to conquer the beautiful beast.
