Residential broker Jennifer Wehner brings top team to eXp Realty

Residential real estate broker Jennifer Wehner, who boasts the No. 1 female Re/Max team in the state, is joining eXp Realty, an agent-owned cloud brokerage firm.

A 15-year veteran of the real estate industry, Wehner joins eXp from Re/Max Fine Properties. She is in the top 20 Realtors (out of 36,000) in the Metro Phoenix MLS.

Wehner leads a team of 10 licensed professionals who specialize in resale, new homes, land, and investment properties in Scottsdale, Phoenix, Paradise Valley, Cave Creek, Carefree, Anthem, Chandler, Gilbert, Mesa, and surrounding municipalities in Maricopa County.

We have a good-sized team selling between 200 and 300 homes a year, heavily focused on the customer service experience. Wehner and her team give back to the community. The goal this year is to raise $15,000 for Sunshine Acres children’s home in Mesa. Wehner is a mother of four children, ages 2-20. She is a graduate of Cal State University-Long Beach.

Fiesta Bowl adds Chuck Warshaver as business development executive

The Fiesta Bowl organization has brought in one of Arizona’s most influential nonprofit leaders to assist with its Fiesta Bowl Charities endeavors, as Chuck Warshaver joins as business development executive.

Warshaver will connect with companies, other nonprofit organizations and donors to expand their relationships with Fiesta Bowl Charities through sponsorships, donations and strategic partnerships. A key focus for Warshaver is to continually enhance the Wishes for Teachers program that last year provided $5,000 grants to nearly 150 Arizona teachers. The goal for 2018-19 is to donate in excess of $1 million to Arizona teachers.

Advisor Group appoints Ed Obuchowski as CTO

Advisor Group, one of the nation’s largest networks of independent financial advisory firms, comprised of FSC Securities Corp., Royal Alliance Associates Inc., SagePoint Financial Inc. and Woodbury Financial Services Inc., today announced the appointment of Ed Obuchowski as chief technology officer (CTO). Effective immediately, Obuchowski will report to President and CEO Jamie Price, and will lead the firm’s technology strategy to help advisors efficiently grow and scale their businesses. He will also be responsible for optimization of the internal enterprise IT systems architecture for Advisor Group’s 5,000-plus advisors and the employees who work every day to support those advisors and their clients.

Obuchowski joins Advisor Group from Charles Schwab, where he spent 20 years leading the firm’s enterprise-wide technology efforts to improve the user experience for investors, advisors and employees. In his most recent role, he was responsible for overseeing internal and external technology platforms for the firm’s institutional division, Schwab Advisor Services.
