Landsea Homes names regional division president in Arizona

Landsea Homes has announced that longtime executive Greg Balen has been named Regional President, Arizona Division for the company.

“As one of our original Landsea Homes team members, Greg has continuously shown initiative and strategic thought during his long and distinguished career, and keenly understands the importance we place on attention to detail, construction and high-quality customer service,” said Mike Forsum, chief operating officer, Landsea Homes.

He added, “Greg’s homebuilding expertise and leadership ensures that Garrett Walker Homes and Landsea Homes will continue to deliver exceptional best-in-class communities in some of Arizona’s most highly desirable and livable locations.”

“With our strategic expansion plans underway in Arizona, I’m excited about this new opportunity to support our in-market growth while ensuring that we remain true to our commitment to building quality homes and providing unmatched customer service,” said Balen.  “We are very bullish on Arizona and have assembled a great team to provide homebuyers with great opportunities to ‘Live In Their Element’.”

Landsea Homes entered the Arizona market just two years ago with a land purchase for their first community.  Since that time, they have steadily acquired additional lots to boast 19 communities and more than 1,400 lots in Arizona.  The recent acquisition of Garrett Walker Homes, which continues to operate under that well-known brand, added 18 communities (nine actively selling) and more than 1,700 total lots to the portfolio, making Landsea Homes one of the top homebuilders in Arizona.  Last month, Phoenix-based RL Brown research named Landsea Homes as one of the homebuilders building the most affordable homes in Arizona.

Alexandra Morehouse named to Constellation Research’s 2020 AX50

Alexandra Morehouse, chief marketing officer at Banner Health, has been named to Constellation Research’s 2020 AX50, an elite list of innovative and disruptive leaders transforming customer experiences—and digital platforms—around the world.

Morehouse joined Banner Health in 2015 and is using customer experience insights from her time in the financial and data analytics sectors to lead the deployment of a broad-scale digital initiative that will deliver the benefits of a modern, enterprise-wide digital customer platform to patients–and physicians. She is helping to make Banner Health the first major health system to bring power to patients through a “digital front door” that lets patients get the care they need through the channel of their choice: call, click, or clinic visit.

The AX50 have demonstrated how to effectively implement customer-centric strategies, disruptive business models and emerging technologies to help transform customer experiences, keep brand promises, activate movements, grow revenues and increase operational efficiency.

“American consumers have had their expectations set by digital disrupters like Amazon and Uber, and the health care industry has been slow to catch up,” said Morehouse. “By delivering digital options for patients to manage their care, health care companies are improving the customer experience while driving down administrative costs, leading to a win-win situation for all parties involved.”

“Sustainable businesses put customers at the center of everything they do. In today’s experience economy, the goal of empowering great customer experiences drives successful business transformation. The AX50 leaders are paving the way to better, more durable relationships through great customer experiences across their organizations,” said Nicole France, VP & principal analyst at Constellation Research.

The AX50 will be featured and celebrated at the Ambient Experience Summit in Atlanta on February 27, 2020.The full AX50 list and more on the program can be found here: https://www.constellationr.com/work-constellation/ambient-experience-50
