Sacks Tierney expands its Corporate, Real Estate, and Litigation Practices

Sacks Tierney is pleased to announce that Michael Margrave, Michael Kitchen, and Patrick Van Zanen have joined the firm. “They are excellent attorneys with outstanding reputations throughout the state and are valuable additions to our firm, particularly in our corporate, real estate and litigation practice groups,” said Judith Dworkin, Managing Partner of Sacks Tierney. ADM Group announces new principal

ADM Group, Inc., the Southwest’s premier, locally-owned architecture, design and project management firm, is proud to announce that Jenifer Weskalnies, AIA, LEED AP, NCARB, has been promoted to Principal/Director of Architecture for the firm.

Weskalnies, who joined ADM Group in 2009, has served for the past five years as its Director of Architecture. Throughout her tenure, she has been a leader on dozens of projects, many of which have earned local and national recognition (recent examples include West Point High School in the Tolleson Union High School District, The Madison Center for the Arts in the Madison School District in Phoenix and the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community Cultural Repository).

Weskalnies graduated summa cum laude from the University of Arizona College of Architecture. She has done everything from residential remodeling to large-scale commercial projects and is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. Jenifer is also a LEED Accredited Professional and is licensed in Arizona, Texas and California.

Brad Lontz joins CopperPoint as SVP and CIO

CopperPoint Insurance Companies, a western-based super-regional commercial insurance company, announced Brad Lontz has joined the company as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer.

“Brad is a seasoned technology leader with over 25 years of experience working in insurance, financial services, supply chain and consulting organizations,” said Scott Shader, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.

“He has spent his entire career focused on delivering profitable growth through business and technology alignment, organizational development, technology strategy and project delivery. Sierra Tucson announces chief medical officer

Sierra Tucson, an international leader in behavioral, mental and integrated health care, announces the appointment of Jasleen Chhatwal, MD, as Chief Medical Officer. She has served as Interim Chief Medical Officer since November, 2019.

Dr. Chhatwal will be responsible for managing the medical department, which includes psychiatrists, physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, as well overseeing the integrative care team and applied neuroscience department. She will focus on ensuring high-quality patient care through the optimization of internal processes to create greater efficiencies that will increase provider face-time with patients. In addition, Dr. Chhatwal will lead the facility’s mental health education outreach efforts at national and international conferences and seminars to promote the importance of integrated care for successful, sustainable recovery. As a firm believer that staff care is important to providing optimal patient care, she will also be directing an internal initiative to assist the Sierra Tucson medical staff to prioritize their own self-care.

Since 2018, she has served at Sierra Tucson in the roles of Associate Medical Director and Medical Director for the Mood Disorders Residential Program, as well as continuing as a clinical assistant professor at the University of Arizona. Dr. Chhatwal was formerly the Interim Medical Director Psychiatric Hospital Services for Banner University Medical Center South in Tucson and previously served as Chief Resident at the University of Arizona College of Medicine Department of Psychiatry.
