Salt River Project selected Alaina Chabrier as the company’s new chief communications executive and associate general manager of Marketing & Communications.
Chabrier, who was most recently senior vice president of Marketing and Communications at HonorHealth, assumed her new duties at SRP on August 1.
SRP is a community-based, not-for-profit public power utility and the largest provider of electricity in the greater Phoenix metropolitan area, serving more than 1 million customers.
Prior to her position at HonorHealth, Chabrier was vice president of Strategic Planning and Marketing for the John C. Lincoln Health Network and director of Marketing and Public Relations for national health care management company Schaller Anderson, Incorporated.
Her career background also includes working for branding and marketing agencies in Los Angeles and Boston.
Chabrier served on several community service boards including the Scottsdale Training and Rehabilitation Services and the Southwest Center for HIV/AIDS.
