The State Bar of Arizona recognized Brian J. Pollock of Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie LLP as a recipient of its Member of the Year Award for his contributions to the legal profession.

Pollock has served on multiple committees of the Arizona State Bar responsible for rules and jury instructions impacting civil litigation. He is one of three individuals receiving the award during the 2016 State Bar annual convention.

A trial lawyer in the Litigation practice group at Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie, Pollock represents clients in commercial real estate disputes, director and officer liability litigation, and disputes involving limited liability companies, partnerships and closely held corporations.

“Over the past several years, Brian has spent countless hours volunteering with the Bar working to ensure quality and fairness in our court system. Lately he has been very busy as a lead member of the state Supreme Court’s Task Force on the Arizona Rules of Civil Procedure,” said Litigation Practice Group Manager Bruce Samuels. “We thank Brian for his contributions to the profession, and are proud to see him recognized for his efforts.”

Established in 1991, the Member of the Year Award is presented by the State Bar of Arizona Board of Governors to the attorney or attorneys who have rendered extraordinary contributions to the organization’s programs and activities in the prior year.

The State Bar of Arizona is a non-profit organization that operates under the supervision of the Arizona Supreme Court. It includes approximately 23,500 attorneys and provides education and development programs for the legal profession and the public.
