Western Window Systems, part of the PGT Innovations (NYSE: PGTI) family of brands, announced its launch of Leading Ladies, a voluntary women’s network initiated in 2017 by PGT Innovations president and CEO Jeff Jackson. Specifically dedicated to help women gain professional development support, establish the window and door manufacturer as a workplace of choice, and provide community outreach, Western Window Systems’ Leading Ladies will offer lectures, group activities, and self-reflection exercises as well as mentorship, inspiration, and insights from top women leaders.
“Creating a culture of gender diversity is a passion at PGT Innovations and is a personal goal of mine,” says Jackson. “Now more than ever, women are excelling in the workforce, making valuable contributions that advance our industry. As the father of three daughters, I personally champion this initiative, and I am proud that our family of brands has so many great female leaders and team members.”
So far, Leading Ladies at Western Window Systems has welcomed over 30 participants (there are approximately another 30 in Florida). The next meeting is planned for April. The Phoenix and Venice, Florida, locations of Leading Ladies will leverage their experiences through shared communication channels such as email and a chat-based workspace.
