Christine Villa
Chief financial officer
Dixxon Flannel Co.
Background: Villa is a real-world professional with operational and financial experience. She excels at evaluating information and assembling scalable processes that capture data in meaningful ways to further planning and goals. Understanding, collaborating, planning, inspiring and solving issues is Villa’s natural approach.
Path to success: “My path was a little different probably than most people. I did not go to college out of high school. I started working administrative jobs, office management jobs. There always seemed to be some type of bookkeeping component and as time went on, I found that I was going in that direction. So, I went back to school and got a bachelor’s in business administration. I graduated the same year that my oldest graduated from high school and then I rolled straight into a master’s program in accounting and graduated from that master’s program.”
