Teaspressa, a Phoenix-based gourmet beverage company, will be expanding locally and nationally with the grand opening of a flagship location in Phoenix and new products and partnerships.
Starting at the beginning of February, Teaspressa will move out of its shared space in Scottsdale to a new location in the Arcadia area, that’s yet to be announced. Teaspressa will still be available at DeSoto Central Market and Phoenix Public Market.
Teaspressa has seen a lot of growth in the past year for its gourmet hybrid tea-based beverages that combine the best of both coffee and tea. Teaspressa opened its first location in Scottsdale last year, and saw a spike in online sales, according to Teaspressa Founder Allison DeVane.
“We are excited to expand to a new location – a space that will serve as Teaspressa’s headquarters and signature café,” she said.
DeVane was featured on Shark Tank last year, which resulted in the boost in sales and recognition.
Teaspressa creates tea lattes and coffee-inspired beverages with the use of tea instead of coffee grounds.
The beverage company’s first phase of café expansions will be part of a new partnership with Primal Kitchen. In the partnership, the two companies will launch more than five health conscious restaurants in 2017, beginning with the first location in South Bend, Indiana in June.
These Teaspressa locations will be equipped with Teaspressa’s signature brewing machine, products and baristas.
Teaspressa will be partnering with local companies, including Tuft & Needle and Camelback Flower Shop as a part of its continued growth plan.
