“Economic opportunity will continue to flourish for the City of Scottsdale with companies like WeTravel choosing to grow their business in our region. Their diverse and motivated team will make a great addition to the thriving business community here in Scottsdale,” says Rob Millar, Director of Economic Development.

The company considered multiple markets including Salt Lake City, Atlanta, and Denver, but ultimately selected Scottsdale due to the region’s competitive costs to do business, the availability of talent and access to local resources. In addition, the executive team was energized by the entrepreneurial spirit of the region and felt alignment with the regional leaders.

“Greater Phoenix continues to see a growing number of innovative technology companies expanding to the region,” says Chris Camacho, President and CEO, Greater Phoenix Economic Council. “WeTravel’s expansion to Scottsdale is exciting and they join an ecosystem of disruptors that are putting this region on the map.”
